Butterfly brooch.
These Butterflies are made from fabric that was due for landfill. I use lots of small scraps of fabric layered over each other with embroidery wool and free motion embroidery to hold it all together.
They are all backed with upholstery wool which also was due for landfill.
The Butterflies are decorated with free motion embroidery, glass beads, sequins and waxed hemp cord.
As I make this fabric from scraps every one I make will be different and unique.

Size is approximately 6.5cm wide and 5cm high and the antenna 2cm long.
