Mushroom brooch
These fabulous Mushrooms are made from fabric that was due to go to landfill.
The grass and the caps are made from soft velvet upholstery fabric and the stalks are made from PVC upholstery fabric, both are from the swatch books you would pick your high end sofa fabric from. Sadly they would all be thrown away once they had gone out of season.
The mushrooms are decorated using free motion embroidery with glass beads for the 'spots' on the caps.
As I only get very small quantities of each fabric it means every one I make is different and unique. Use the drop down menu to pick your favourite, see the photos for the corresponding numbers.
There is an easy to open/close clasp on the back with a ribbon printed with my Website details.
This would be a great present for a friend or even for yourself.
Size is approximately 6.5cm by 5.5cm.
